U.S Department of State – Whether you are an American citizen traveling abroad or a foreign citizen traveling to the U.S., get all the information you need before you head overseas. Travel.state.gov contains tips for traveling abroad, passport and visa applications as well as document requirements. If you do not have a passport, please apply for one today. Most post offices process applications for passports. Visit www.usps.com for a post office near you.

REMINDER – All persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551, if applicable. All persons traveling by land and sea outside of the United States are required to present a passport book/card, or other valid travel documents to enter or re-enter the United States.
